Kate Kurzen

From a young age, Kate has valued time in nature—soaking up light, reflections, textures, and colors. This set her on a pathway to further develop a creative intuition. She later sharpened these skills as she studied Advertising and Graphic Design in college.

Kate spent time in various humanitarian efforts, growing a thoughtfulness in her encounters with people. A highlight was the time she spent in Mexico, working with underprivileged children. She still values intentional relationships and investing in her community most recently expressed by volunteering with Girls on the Run.

In her work today, Kate carries over her values and skillset sculpted over the course of her life. She still derives inspiration from nature and seeks to add intentionally to work by focusing on people.
