Bio
Nicholas studied at Elon University, where he graduated as an Honors Fellow with a B.S. in Engineering, concentrating on computing (essentially mechatronics). During his time at Elon, he co-founded the university’s Formula SAE Team, Phoenix Racing, and was an active member of the college club swim team and Elon Motorsports, the university’s car club. His undergraduate research involved designing an affordable collision avoidance LiDAR system for vehicles. Nicholas also had the unique opportunity to backpack the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru as part of a class. Prior to joining Bravo Team as a Mechanical Engineer, he pursued his passion for all things automotive, owning a motorcycle and being an avid car enthusiast. Outside of work, Nicholas enjoys spending his time outdoors—hiking, backpacking, swimming, and biking. He also has a passion for building and tinkering with various projects.
Greatest Accomplishments
One of my greatest accomplishments is founding a Formula SAE Team from scratch and building an electric race car, despite having no initial knowledge of where to begin. As engineers, we are problem solvers, and that’s precisely how we approached this challenge.
