Bio
Roger studied Mechanical Engineering, earning a PhD from Virginia Tech. Before working at Bravo Team, Roger worked in government and defense research roles in diverse application areas related primarily to mobile robotics, shipboard automation, and embedded systems for defense projects.
Transitioning to a focus on industrial automation, Roger worked on the development of standalone and end-to-end automated manufacturing and material handling equipment featuring industrial robots for furniture manufacturing and food applications. Roger has experience with Yaskawa Motoman, Fanuc, and Staubli robots and has developed several custom robotic gripping solutions.
Greatest Accomplishments
The development of several patented soft and rigid robotic end-of-arm-tools designed for lifting a large variety of beef and pork subprimal cuts.
